Anker's $79.99 Eufy Window Camera E10 Watches Outdoors From Indoors

Anker's $79.99 Eufy Window Camera E10 shoots 2.5K video through window glass with AI alerts, tilting 25 degrees — more than twice the price of Wyze's rival.

Anker has launched the Eufy Window Camera E10 at $79.99, an indoor security camera built to monitor yards, driveways and porches through window glass rather than braving the elements outside. It's available now through Anker's online store and Amazon, and it enters a small but growing niche: Wyze shipped a strikingly similar Window Cam nearly a year ago at $34.98.

The concept is simple. Stick the camera against the inside of a window, and the glass does the weatherproofing. The E10 ships with a mounting sticker designed to cut glare and reflections — the classic weakness of shooting through glass — and Anker claims installation takes less than a minute.

Why pay more than twice Wyze's price?

The E10 costs more than double the Wyze Window Cam, and Anker's case rests largely on resolution. Wyze's camera tops out at 1080p. The E10 captures 15fps video at 2,688 x 1,520 pixels — a maximum resolution of 2.5K — which should yield noticeably more detail on faces, license plates and package deliveries.

The field of view is also slightly wider and taller than Wyze's, at 105 degrees horizontal and 57 degrees vertical. That won't suit every window, though. To handle installations from ground-floor panes to upstairs bedrooms, Anker fitted the E10 with a manual adjustment wheel on the back that tilts the camera up or down by as much as 25 degrees, keeping the areas you actually want monitored properly in frame.

What else does the E10 do?

The feature list reads like a mid-tier outdoor cam's, minus the weather sealing:

  • Color night vision, not the grayscale infrared common on cheaper units
  • AI-powered motion detection and alerts that distinguish between humans, animals and vehicles, cutting false alarms from passing cats or swaying branches
  • Local recording to microSD cards up to 256GB, with optional cloud storage behind a subscription
  • A microphone tuned for louder noises, a necessary compromise given the camera sits behind glass that muffles quieter sounds

One compromise cuts against the plug-and-pair installation story: the E10 has no rechargeable battery. Buyers will need to route and, if they care about aesthetics, hide a power cord running to the window — which may rule out the far upstairs placements the tilt wheel otherwise enables.

The bigger question is competitive positioning. Wyze proved there's demand for the window-cam form factor at budget pricing, but its camera carries the baggage of Wyze's past security stumbles in the eyes of some buyers. Anker is betting that a 2.5K sensor, smarter alerts and a stronger brand in Eufy justify a $45 premium — and that customers who won't drill holes or climb ladders to mount an outdoor camera will pay it. With the E10 shipping now, that bet gets tested against Wyze's established head start this holiday season.
